The Governor of Cross Rivers state,Professor Ben Ayade has stated the guidelines to follow for school reopening next week Monday.He said students in both public and private schools will be mandated to wear facemasks and also maintain social distancing to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus otherwise known as COVID-19.


The Governor break the good news when he inspected the protective gears which will be given out for free to students when they resume.



Schools all over the country was closed down late March as one of the preventive measures to contain the spread of the Coronavirus ravaging the country. The dreaded Virus which started in Wuhan,China has spread to many countries of the world killing thousands of infected people and closing down world economy.

Cross Rivers will be the second state in Nigeria without any confirmed cases of the dreaded virus.
